I grew up in Northern California in the tiny town of Weaverville. I stayed busy playing sports and focusing on my academics. I come from a very large active family. One fun fact about me is that I'm an identical twin. When I was 16 years old, I taught swim lessons at my local pool and realized I loved teaching. My counselor advised me to check out Sonoma State as they had a stellar Kinesiology department (study of human movement) and Teacher Credentialing program. I moved to Rohnert Park and stayed, who wouldn’t? I played water polo for SSU and completed my student teaching at RVMS. I knew then I wanted to be a RVMS Falcon. After years of teaching at a variety of SRCS schools, I have finally come full circle and made it back to RVMS. I couldn’t be happier!
I met my husband at RVMS and we have two beautiful children together. Carter loves sports like Mom and Dad and we hope Ainsley will too. Even with a busy family, we continue to enjoy sports and outdoor activities.
